The Academic Medical Programs

M.D. and Related Programs

USAT offers traditional resident-based Doctoral Programs leading to the award of the degrees of the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), Bachelor of Medicine (B.S.), Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.), Doctor of Public Health (D.P.H.), Doctor of Science (Sc.D.), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Bachelor of Ophthalmology Medicine and Surgery (B.O.M.S.), and others. The M.D. degree can be completed in as little as 36-40 months of continuous, uninterrupted study, exclusive of vacation, travel, or other interruptions in continuity of study.

Graduate Entry Program for Medicine

USAT offers an attractive Graduate entry Program for Medicine, leading to award of the Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) for applicants who hold degrees in licensable medical career fields, including Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, Naturopathic Medicine, Chiropractic Medicine, and other related fields. This program requires a minimum of 36 months of medical study including completion of basic medical sciences, and includes 80 weeks of focused clinical training.

D.O. to M.D. Program

USAT offers a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine to Doctor of Medicine program, for students and graduates of U.S. Osteopathic Medical Schools. This program includes a basic sciences and clinical sciences update followed by designated clinical training in allopathic teaching hospitals in the USA and abroad.

O.M.D., T.C.M. Program.

USAT also conducts collaborative programs leading to the award of the Doctor of Oriental Medicine (O.M.D.) and the M.B.B.S. in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine using a combination of resident and class learning modules.

Diplomat in Medicine

USAT offers post graduate degrees. These specialty postgraduate acknowledgements represent advanced achievement in one's field of specialization and are an especially important recognition of advanced study in a specialty or subspecialty area.

Diplomat Certificates

USAT includes but is not limited to International Medicine (Diplomat International Medicine), Family Medicine (Diplomat Family Medicine), Tropical Medicine (Diplomat Tropical Medicine), Naturopathic Medicine (Diplomat Naturopathic Medicine), Nursing (Diplomat International Nursing), and other specialty areas.
